Magnesium fluoride under high energy radiation has only a slight effect on the preferred ultraviolet radiation optical element for space stations.It has been proved that magnesium fluoride material with high laser damage threshold and no color center is more suitable for the optical window material of excimer laser than calcium fluoride material.Magnesium fluoride is the preferred material for fluorination environment because of its chemical composition.
Application:
MgF2 used in wave plate, laser system, coating crystal, vacuum window plate, PBS light source, microscope, optical instrument, etc.It is a birefringent optical material which can be used for polarized optical devices in the ultraviolet radiation region.
